Dear Aelien-Moon Guard, Wolfnorris-Bladefist and Shila-Echo Isles,

My little laptop on wireless is taking poorly to heroics, so for the time being I'm sitting on lowbie alts across various servers. Tonight I had a go on my baby mage, testing out her fire spec as in the past I've always been an arcane or frostbolt-slinging girl. My queue drops me into SM Armory, complete with a tank in awful gear who flees group as soon as we set foot into the courtyard area and something runs towards him. (Back to tanking school for you. Aggro is lesson #3 for warriors, right after The Pointy End Goes Into Things and Shield Does No Good When Worn Across Your Effing Back.)

But despite Mr Tank-in-training leaving so fast that he probably got his bootlaces hooked on the portal, those of us left proceeded to finish off the three who had been aggro'd. None of us except for the rogue (Shila) were in heirlooms and we consisted of her, Wolf the hunter with his tiny scorpion, Aelien as our disc heals and myself. And in calm silence none of us popped up a re-queue. Without griping or QQing or even setting up a kill order we simply marched on and with a combination of sheeping, trapping and sapping, made our way smoothly and without incident right to the end.

To all of you - you said very little but your skill showed everything I needed to know. You all played your baby characters better than half the raiders I've seen, showing off your ability to co-ordinate and use CC that the game by both design and use of heirlooms today does not often need any more.

My tiny silk hat goes off to you. I wish I saw more of your ilk.
-One very pleased little pyromaniac.
