I know it's annoying to fail a loot roll. But if you need something, then please NEED it. Don't Greed then get pissy a short while later when I win it (also Greeded) then I Need on the bow that dropped. I NEEDED the bow, the staff was just a nice Greed roll win. I could have passed, but it isn't like I used my secret special powers of RNG influence to win it--I didn't expect to win it, and why didn't you Need it? If you'd asked me nicely, I would have given it to you, but instead you chose to go to crysbaby's house for vacations. So I kept it, and put you on Ignore I didn't Need on the staff, but you should have, and should have asked nicely. Enjoy running Gundrak until it drops again.

Dear Tanks,
What's with the recent trend of popping into dungeons, pulling, then leaving? Or getting to a boss fight, pulling, then leaving? So far as I can tell, no one's being an asshat or a poor player. IDGI. I know crap happens (once literally, as when the healer went afk when her dog pooped on the floor) but a few of you are looking really jerkish doing that. Stop it.

I don't really understand why people don't roll Need on stuff they actually need. I guess there's this sorta fear of being harassed for rolling need on something people want to avoid but...really. Just roll need if you're going to flip your shit when you don't win it.
Exactly. Now, I'll always greed if it's something that would be an upgrade ilvl wise and is the right material (plate for my warrior, mail for my Hunter, etc.) but has iffy stats (like int on plate but also Agi and other DPS-y stuff for the Warrior or Int/spirit with Agi and Critical Strike on the mail for the Hunter) and I figure if I win, yay! and I'll get more appropriate gear later. (none of my gear I have qualifies for Reforging yet).
But if it's spot-on perfect and an upgrade, you bet I'm going to Need. That bow was Drakkari Hunting Bow with a nice big Agility boost on it.
Can we also maybe talk about tanks who pop in, turn in their quests, then leave?

Yes! OMFG.
Also, I've had a rash of Tank or Heals queueing then not accepting the queue when it pops. I know, again, crap happens, but lately, it's 3-4 times a play session. If you aren't going to run it, why queue? One time I did see a Tank in trade chat admit to doing it on purpose, but come on why grief your own faction?
They used to do this all the time. I sat through a queue once and counted 30 declines by the tank. -.- | |
